Benedictine College students have the opportunity to enroll in study abroad programs in a large variety of countries and areas of study.

交流项目 are a great opportunity for immersion in a foreign country. 学生s don’t necessarily need to speak another language, as an increasing number of universities in many countries offer courses in English. Exchange programs imply that an international student comes to study at our college in place of the student going abroad.

BC is part of the following exchange programs:

ISEP. The International 学生 Exchange Program consists of a network of over 300 colleges and universities in 50 countries across the globe. 学生s can choose to take classes in the host language or English. This program can be semester long or year long.

剪秋罗属植物学院. 位于悉尼郊外, 澳大利亚, Campion offers the convenience of a big city but also a strong, 密切的社区. It is the first and only Catholic liberal arts college in 澳大利亚. All courses are in English, with a focus on 哲学 and Theology courses. 学生s can choose a year or semester length exchange.

冰. Catholic Institute of Higher Education, La Roche-sur-Yon, Vendée, 法国. Programs offered in French in eight areas of study. 政治学的英语课, 历史, 英国文明, 美国政府, 国际关系, Comparative Law and Anglophone Literature. All international students are offered free French language tutoring and weekend excursions.

阿巴特·奥利巴CEU大学. 位于巴塞罗那, 西班牙, Abat Oliba is a university affiliated to the Asociación Católica de Propagandistas. It offers an International Degree in Journalism Studies, with many of its courses in English. Other departments include Business and Economics, 法律与政治科学, 心理学与教育学, 和人文.

Myongji大学. 信仰ful to its Christian founding spirit, Myongji is one of the leading private institutions of higher education in South Korea. Exchange students can take courses in English in different departments. The Korean Studies program is especially designed for international students to provide a comprehensive knowledge of Korean history, 经济与文化.

都灵大学, 教师 of Business and Economics, Turin, Italy. Business 学生s can choose among a large selection of courses in English. Surrounded by the Alps, Turin is one of Italy’s main industrial centers. 这是一个优雅的城市, rich in history and beautiful architecture, known for being home to the Shroud of Turin.

瓦伦西亚太阳城官网. UCV is located in Valencia, the third largest city in 西班牙 after Madrid and Barcelona. US students can take advantage of the UCV-US program designed to allow American students to study Spanish and have access to a number of classes offered at UCV both in Spanish and in English.

If students are interested in a program that is not affiliated with Benedictine College they can still apply through Benedictine, 然而, they must be aware that the approval process must start at the beginning of the semester prior to the one the student plans to study abroad. 学生s are required to complete the college’s online 出国留学 Application form (see link on top of this page) which provides notice to the college of the student’s intent to study abroad. The student must then meet with relevant college offices, 包括商务办公室, the Office of Academic Records and Registration, 和财政援助办公室. Meeting with these offices helps verify the student’s enrollment status while abroad, helps ensure the courses taken abroad will transfer to Benedictine, and allows the student to understand how financial aid might be accessed to help pay for the study abroad program. Priority Deadlines to submit the study abroad online form are September 30 for the spring semester, 2月28日是夏季学期, 秋季学期是3月31日. A timely application along with required student meetings with college offices noted, will ensure all the relevant paperwork is taken care of well in advance of making final plans.

The Department of Modern Foreign and Classical Languages sponsors language based programs in Seville, 西班牙; Lyon, 法国.

These programs allow students to be enrolled at Benedictine, while taking language courses at affiliated language schools.
